Hydronic Heat Load Design

Kroll offers a free tailored room by room heat-loss [or heat load] calculation, sizing, and LoopCAD and Taco FloPro system layouts specifying full colour pipe dimensions and power ratings required to achieve a comfortable heat level on the coldest days of the year. Slab heating and/or panel radiators can be implemented. Itemised Bill of Material (BOM) is standard, see Material List example below. The BOM is in Excel or .xls format for simple budget calculation. The hydronic design specifies equipment for the installing plumber and electrician, even down to hydraulic flow rates in LPM or litres per minute, the water velocities in the circuits, delta T across the loads as well as head loss or pressure drops across all components.
